Starting Up Your Device - Trézor®

Welcome to the official setup guide for your Trézor® hardware wallet. At Trézor.io/Start, you’ll find all the tools and instructions to begin using your device securely and efficiently. Whether you're using Trézor Model One or Trézor Model T, this guide ensures your crypto journey begins with maximum protection.

What You’ll Need

• Your Trézor hardware wallet (Model One or Model T)
• A computer or smartphone with USB or USB-C support
• Stable internet connection
• Access to Trezor Suite (browser or desktop app)

Step 1: Connect Your Device

1. Go to Trézor.io/Start
2. Download Trezor Suite or open the web version
3. Connect your device using the provided cable
4. Follow on-screen instructions to begin setup

Step 2: Backup Your Recovery Seed

During setup, your device will display a 12- or 24-word recovery phrase. Carefully write this down on the provided recovery card and store it in a safe place—never share it or store it digitally.

Important: If anyone gains access to your recovery phrase, they can control your crypto. Trézor will NEVER ask for this phrase.

Step 3: Create and Secure Your Wallet

• Choose a strong device PIN during setup
• Install desired cryptocurrencies via Trezor Suite
• Use passphrase protection for enhanced security (optional)

Using Trezor on Mobile
